my life is green fuzz
I just finished cutting all the velvet. Whew! I am covered in green fuzz. In fact my scissors, ironing board and just about everything else in the library is covered in green fuzz. I guess I’ll have to pull out the vacuum cleaner later. I can’t wait until I start sewing the velvet and my bedroom is covered in fuzz too – what fun. *note sarcasm* Ooh, it’s going to be a pretty gown though!

I still have the lining and my slip to cut out but my feet and back needed a break. In addition to the gown, I cut out a new throw pillow. I needed a new green pillow anyway (since the old one doesn’t go with the new duvet cover I made for my bed) and I figured a little practice-sewing-on-velvet-project would be a good idea. I’m thinking of making it a “Rohan” pillow by appliquéing a horse (out of the silk perhaps?) on it. I’d take a design from one of those gorgeous banners in the Golden Hall. *sigh* I love those banners.

They also liked playing with the fuzz balls that gathered in odd places (only area rugs in that house). *shakes head* Cats...
