I'm very dissappointed with Etsy
Okay now I'm starting to get seriously annoyed. The picture is still up. I'm very disappointed with Etsy. Just sent another "report this listing". I really don't want to have to deal with the seller directly - if I do what is to stop her from using my photo again in the future.

I really don't have time to deal with this.

If you want, I have the seller's phone number. And address. But I don't think you want to take a cluebat to Casper, Wy. And a whole bunch of other fun info...

I know at least five of us -and probably a heck of a lot more- have reported multiple entries by her.

I can't help it if people don't hide their data that well.....

Noooooo way?! What the? Haven't we (collectively) gone through all of this years ago? I mean, you'd think people have a clue.

I've not commented in years, although I enjoy your blog immensely. After reading the initial post, I looked at the sellers items, and several dresses seem photoshopped onto backgrounds, and the way the dresses are described as being made by the seller doesn't match the way they are made in the photos. So I sent in a complaint on that score to Etsy as well.

Good luck, and sorry this has happened. It has shaken my faith in Etsy.

I am so sorry this is happening to you!

My stolen picture was taken down before I even got home from work--I only found it through a search for the cached page. Otherwise, I'd give you some advice!

Hopefully it's just taking Etsy a bit to get through their inbox. I just don't get people like her...

Annoyed at Etsy? A lot of people are. You may enjoy reading Etsy Bitch, a blog about everything that's wrong with the site. It's very enlightening.

Ack. This really sucks--and yet am I surprised? Not really; after all we all saw the stealing-drama of the early days and I know I've seen instances of it since. I'm just annoyed and saddened it's still happening (and it happened to YOU!). AUGH! Will see if I can use the report button to add my ire into the mix. ;)

Etsy's customer service is crap. Unfortunately it will probably take several days at least for them to deal with it :( Hopefully the seller will take it down if you let her know you're onto her. I can't believe she has the guts to steal photos from some of the most well-known historical costumers out there, did she think no one would notice?!

I've reported this item also ... I figure if people around the world are complaining at fraudulent items being listed they'll hopefully take more notice. I mentioned that this type of seller reduces the credibility to me of other sellers items (hoping that will motivate them to action).
