in which Felicity acquires tea things
So another day, another auction lost. Of course now I know why the things I want go for so much. Its people like me who have lost/been sniped multiple times and are determined to win this finial auction at any price!!! I was almost there earlier this week but the madness subsided before I did something my checkbook would regret. :P I am SO starting to re-think my pre-Mattel snobbery. :>

I decided I'd had enough today though and looked for a reasonable buy it now and bought the set next on my priority list. I was willing to pay extra bucks for less aggravation but ended up paying a price I could live with. Yay - I am such a buy it now fan at the moment!

So here is what will shortly be in my... err Felicity's grubby little hands:

Felicity's Tea Lesson

It's one of the accessories I have always loved and am now determined to have. My Mom has the life sized version of the tea caddy (which I use almost everyday) and I have a life-sized version of the tea cup (purchased in Williamsburg ages ago). Really I'd like a second tea cup for when Felicity has a friend over, liking the blue cups better than either the chocolate or current tea set. Maybe I can get Mom to pitch in for a mini-me tea caddy... *ponders* Then I'll need the table and chairs of course... and down the slippery slope I slide further! :>

Barring a great buy-it-now pre-Mattel fashion doll (next on the priority list) or total steal table and chairs this will be my last AG purchase before CC. You guys have to hold me to that or I won't have any spending money in the fabric district! Deal? Oh and I'm not allowed to start any Felicity costumes until mine are all at least 80% done.

So which do you like the idea of better, a mini Fire costume or a mini chemise gown for the little lady? *evil grin*

I totally understand the frenzy! Like you, I went the easy route and purchased a few things at buy it now prices. Even though I dont have a Felicity, I love her little clothes and accessories. I actually bought her tea lesson from the same place you did. It really is dangerous to one's wallet to try and reclaim your childhood. ;)

Oh and I vote for a little mini chemise dress! :)

"It really is dangerous to one's wallet to try and reclaim your childhood. ;)" - Preach it sister! Looks like the chemise dress is winning, providing I have enough fabric left over... :>

A mini chemise dress! Because I will do one too (*laughs hysterically* - have you seen my CC to-do list?) and then they can be twins! Yay for fellow AG fanatics! :)

It's a sickness Jenni. :P
