I hate it when it's my fault!
Okay the Costume page (indexing all the diaries) is now updated... I don't think I've forgotten any projects.

After some investigating the damage seems to be minimal, just the main index pages (costume, events, study, log, Titanic etc.). The biggest loss is the log archive, as there is no way I can reconstruct that, but I daresay life will go on without it.

The unfortunate event apparently occured last week when I went to download select pages from the server to my computer (my way of backing them up). Instead I did the opposite, uploading the old (backed-up) versions to the server and losing the new. Thank goodness I didn't make that mistake when backing up the diaries or Titanic doll pages - I would have died!

I guess the lesson is once again to back up files OFTEN. You'd think I would have learned by now... :>

don't feel alone. I've done that before. The problem is, I accidently backed up from my backup of my costume image directory, which wiped it all out. I still had the actual website content, but I lost everything I had simply put into a directory until it was complete enough to build a webpage for.

Bummer! Yeah, I'm saving directly to the server these days, hence the need for backups on my computer. I guess there isn't really a safe way (other than to back up every little thing). Oh well!

Yikes!!!! Backing up is totally a good idea. We just learned the hard way when our desktop's motherboard got completely fried. So yeah, backing up is certainly good. ;)

Sorry that happened--at least you were able to fix it quickly!! :)
