waiting is really not my thing
How or when does one find out if one's Costume College registration was accepted?

I sent mine out the first week in January so I don't know if there were memberships left when my crisp little checks arrived. Now that Twelfth Night is past, CC is the next big costuming event and I want to start my evil planning thing, which I don't want to do while there is a possibility I can't go because that would bum me out to no end. That sentence was too long, huh? :P

Waiting is really not my thing, can you tell?

last year i signed up as soon as registrations opened (and then ended up cancelling later, because, hello... i've never actually finished a costume!) and i don't think it actually filled up until early summer.

Apparently it's filling up quickly this year. As of November there were less than 50 memberships left. Eep! :>

It takes a couple weeks to get confirmation. I think you're okay. They would have posted something on the website if it was sold out. I'm personally having a hard time waiting for the class list to come out! :o)

I'm totally with you, I think I mailed mine a day or two after you, but I'm closer to California than you are, so if I hear something first, I'll let you know.

I'm really excited to meet you! So, hypothetically, if you were go to CC are you going to wear any of the dresses you've already made? There are a few I'd love to see in person.

I did take the precaution of sending it Priority Mail. :>

Yep, I'm not planning on CC summer sewing madness, just one or two new things. The hardest part will be deciding between which of the costumes I already have! Any requests? :>

If I had to pick only one...I would love to see your Rose of Rohan gown, it's so gorgeous! I've always loved this type of gown, and have yet to make one of my own.

I'm guessing your butterfly gown will be done by then which I can't wait to see!

I've got good news!

I called Laura Rico, the Registrar at CC earlier today and left her a message asking if I got in in time. She called me back just now and told me that I got in and told me there are now about 5 memberships left.

I mentioned to her that my friend was also wondering about whether or not she made it, and she asked me for your name...and of course you did!

You can be evil now!

let's happy dance together
